Julia Moiseeva
Born in 1987 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The daughter of an amateur artist, Julia made her first child-like artworks at the age of four and turned to painting again when she was thirteen. She briefly studied at the B.E. Johansson College of Arts at the I.E.Repin Institute.
Julia’s picturesque landscapes, well balanced still life paintings and vivid figurative works are all painted from life. Her works are marked with a light and colourful touch. Her unique perception of colour and balance makes each of her canvases remarkable and attractive to the conoisseur.
Julia had her personal exhibition at the General Consulate of the Netherlands (2007) and at the art show rooms of the ‘Coffee Break’ (2008) in St. Petersburg.
